SPEM established an investment fund, which will invest in creative companies 
Investment Fund Creative Industries submitted the application for performing business activity to the Ministry of the Economy
Fund will be managed by Božidar Novak, many years’ director of SPEM Communication group

SPEM Communication group established Investment Fund Creative Industries, a venture capital company, in cooperation with the British investment fund Pembridge. The purpose of the fund is to invest in young and creative companies. In upcoming times of global economic crisis, it will offer financial help and consulting services to the owners of companies in creative industry ranging from advertising to web community, from public relations to television, from games to music, from education to adrenalin sports. Investment Fund Creative Industries is the first one of this kind in Slovenia and in broader region. Its founders have already submitted the application for performing business activity to the Ministry of the Economy.

What sets Investment fund creative industries apart is the establisher’s perspective as investors and real-world entrepreneurs. In 22 years as the latter they faced numerous challenges of building and successfully maintaining their own business, which aside from creative industries encompass the financial sphere as well. Among those, next to the companies around SPEM Communication group and some others, is also the co-establishment of KBM Infond Management Company in 1993. The mission of the fund is to become the initial stop for advice concerning the companies’ growth and investments in creative business at home and abroad. Its owners appreciate independence, respect creativity and wish to make profits. In addition, Investment fund creative industries works with partners throughout the world using tools for public sector management and regional development projects. Company operates in accordance with the Venture Capital Companies Act. The headquarters of Investment fund Creative Industries is located at the Gospejna Street 14 in Maribor.
