Nova KBM realized the best Initial Public Offer (IPO)
East Capital honors Eastern Europe’s best companies
(Stockholm, Maribor – October 17th, 2008)
Nova KBM received the East Capital award for the most successful Initial Public (IPO) in Stockholm, Sweden. As it was explained in detail, Nova KBM IPO was the biggest ever realized on the Stock Exchange, since demand for shares’ subscription exceeded supply by 5,4 times. The share’s price, which gained 36% on the first day of trading and 39% after three months respectively, further attests to the exceptionality of project.
Every year East Capital awards three of the most successful Eastern European companies for exceptional achievements. Alongside Nova KBM, this year’s recipients were VimpleCom, Russian mobile operator, which received the Best Growth award, and Croatian Atlantic Grupa, the leading European producer of sports food and the biggest regional producer of vitamin instant drinks and food supplements, as well as the leading distributor of fast moving consumer goods in Southeastern Europe, which received Discovery of the year award.
Best Growth award is presented to the company, which recorded the highest growth in sales, assets and profit in recent years, while Discovery of the Year award goes to the company, which is regarded as the one that has achieved exceptional business results.
