SPEM Communications group accompanies the Slovene press during the visit to Lukoil in Russia

Having successfully participated in the preparation and communication support for the establishment of the common enterprise of Petrol Lukoil, d.o.o., SPEM Communications group arranged a five day visit of the representatives of main Slovene media to Russia, which took place between 4th and 8th of October. The general rationale behind the visit was to acquaint the attending journalists with the general working methods and conditions, business procedures, and the leadership of the Lukoil oil company. Lukoil is intending to make a combined step with Petrol on the markets of Central and South-Eastern Europe, with the projection of the new common enterprise becoming operational early next year.
Apart from visiting the Lukoil headquarters in Moscow, the group of journalists also visited the town of Kogalim in Eastern Siberia. They were taken to a number of oil drill facilites, crude oil refineries, oil storage facilities, and other infrastructure assets in the vicinity of the town, which was built exclusively to provide a living capacity for the people working in the oil industry.
